The Mane Stage is a student-led music showcase taking place at George McDougall High School. A few band and leadership students noticed the lack of music related events in their community and wanted to make a change. The event will feature performances from many high school musicians across Airdrie, creating a community-wide celebration of talent and creativity, connecting Airdrie musicians from different high schools together!

The showcase will take place in late November or early December. The event will run for approximately three hours, including an intermission with concessions. Performances will be judged by a panel of teachers based on stage presence, sound, and creativity, with gift cards and a monetary award for the top three acts.

The Mane Stage is designed to become an annual tradition at our school that showcases youth talent, gives musicians a stage to show their talents, and brings the Airdrie community together through music.
