As a classroom educator and theatre artist, Tara has seen firsthand the wonderful things that can happen through arts education! After receiving her Bachelor of Education and Master of Arts through York University, Tara went on to teach throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Muskoka in public schools. She has published research on the impact of the arts in preserving language and culture in immigrant communities, and believes deeply in the role music can play in helping all of us tap into our agency, and tell our stories with pride. When she’s not working, Tara can be found hiking, reading, or scoping out a new record store!
