Jocelyn and Phil are lovers of Muskoka and music.

In fact their story started with music in Muskoka. Well, it really started with a party – a pre-party for a Blue Rodeo concert. It was a party that Phil threw, and Jocelyn was lucky enough to be invited.

(Jocelyn learned early on that any man that could plan events as well as she could, was one worth keeping!)

And that is how we get to wanting to support Music and Muskoka:

MusiCounts is a charitable organization with a mission to transform the lives of children and youth in Canada with the gift of music. Music plays a significant role in mental health of children and youth, and MusiCounts ensures that youth across the country who need access to musical instruments, education and resources get it.

Jocelyn has been on the advisory committee of MusiCounts for 10 years and believes strongly in the healing powers of music.

Phil has spent the majority of his life dedicated to giving back and making Muskoka a better place to live, work and play.

For our wedding – we are making a contribution to MusiCounts that will benefit a school in Muskoka.
