Indie88 is proud to partner with MusiCounts to support music education in Canada.

As Canada’s first indie music station, Indie88 provides a platform for emerging artists while paying homage to the classics that inspired them. Indie88 and MusiCounts will work together to empower and celebrate music educators and youth, while also interacting with those who believe in the benefits of music education through various campaigns

As a music station, Indie88 truly understands the power of music and the value of engaging its audience to share stories, spread awareness and raise funds. To keep his legacy alive, Indie88 continues to honour the late Dave “Bookie” Bookman through a variety of initiatives with MusiCounts by supporting youth all over our country.

To date, Indie88 listeners have donated more than $75K to the MusiCounts Band Aid Program which provides musical instruments, equipment and resources to schools across Canada.
