Hi! We’re Franziska + Shawn-Patrick. We’re going on a 1000 km musical cycling journey.  And we’d like your support to turn our kilometers into musical opportunities for kids.

We both gained a love of music as kids from opportunities we had in school. We want more kids to have that same opportunity. That’s why we hope you’ll put a price on our pedalling and donate to MusiCounts, a charity that works to keep music education accessible for kids in Canada. 

We’re leaving on August 26th and pedalling up Lake Ontario to Montreal. There, we’ll give our legs a needed break to take in music: first Canadian legends Rush, followed the next day by a huge outdoor show with Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Anthrax. After the shows, we’ll hop back on our bikes and ride through the Ottawa Valley and back to Toronto. 

Our goal is to raise $4,000 over 1,000 km — $4 for every kilometre we ride — to help put instruments and music education into the hands of kids. We’ll provide the pedalling and sweat.
