IN MEMORY OF JAMES T. NEISH

December 12, 1943 - July 7, 2020

Jim passed away suddenly in Collingwood on July 7th, 2020. Although he was an imposing figure on the Metro Police Force for 34 years, he was a gentle giant and truly one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. While his passion was policing, his love was family. Married to his wife Millie for 54 years, he was a devoted husband and an incredible dad to his son Jim. Whether it was a high school football game or University hockey game, you would likely find him watching on the sidelines or in the stands. Win or lose, he offered unconditional support - whether in sports or in life. He warmly welcomed his daughter-in-law Kristy into the family and his biggest joys in life were his two grandkids. Will and Owen were everything to him from the day they were born. He was always there to lend a hand when they were young or to just 'hang-out' as they got older. He leaves behind a distinguished policing career but most of all his legacy will be his family. There's a huge void in our hearts and lives but we have so many memories to cherish. Love you forever and always.
