TORONTO, ON, November 10, 2023 - Re:Sound is pleased to announce that their annual benefit concert, Re:Wind raised $50,000 CAD for the MusiCounts Band Aid Program.

“We are so proud of the entire Re:Sound team for their efforts in putting together another spectacular event this year,” says Lou Ragagnin, President & CEO of Re:Sound. “We are thrilled to once again support MusiCounts this year. The MusiCounts Band Aid Program is nurturing the next generation of musicians, artists and industry professionals that will help the Canadian music industry continue to flourish.”

This year’s Re:Wind welcomed 200 guests to the Great Hall in Toronto on October 4 for a night of musical performances by music industry professionals from Re:Sound, Entandem, and SOCAN and special guests, The 99s. The event also featured an online auction.

“We are so grateful for our continued partnership and support from Re:Sound as well as the local music community who came out to support Re:Wind this year,” says Kristy Fletcher, President of MusiCounts. “MusiCounts works to make music accessible, sustainable, and inclusive, which ultimately fosters the next generation of music makers, music professionals, and music lovers.”

Re:Sound would like to thank its silent auction donors for the fantastic items and its generous sponsors for helping Re:Sound and MusiCounts foster the next generation of music lovers. Since its inception in 2012, Re:Wind has raised over $300,000 for various charities.
